Herman John Foss Duffield reported missing
Herman John Foss Duffield, a farm worker, was reported missing after he left Mullewa, Western Australia, for a farm about 10 miles from the town, where he worked and no trace was found of him. He was accompanied at the time by a Border Collie dog, and on the day of his disappearance the dog returned alone to the farm. An extensive search had been made of the district by both the police and residents, but no clue had been found to indicate what had happened to him or where he might be.
