- Hannah Milton (n. Burton) was born at Bathurst New South Wales Australia on 17 june 1825. A copy of her baptism certificate is attached. she married Thomas Milton on 10 February 1843 at the age of 18 years. A copy of their marriage certificate is attached. The certificate shows that she had the consent of her mother and friends which should read "father and friends", as her mother was deceased at the time. The certificate also shows that Hannah Milton could not write.
Thomas and Hannah Milton had 10 Children. When Thomas died in 1859, Hannah married an Edward Nurden and had a further four children. Hannah died on 03 July 1912 at Botoboalar near Mudgee, aged 88 years. She had lived in the district for 70 years (the last 54 years at "Trefoil", near Lue) and left 104 grandchildren, 188 great-grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.
