ST. ANN'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (17 Finniss Street)

Built in 1859, consecrated 4th February, 1864 and used continuously since, including a period from 1865 as a local school. Renovated early 1970's, including installation of six stained glass windows by renowned artist Cedar Prest. At rear, note bell tower in gum tree and Annie Doolan's cottage, named after last occupant. The cottage was built in 1876 as a convent for Sisters of St. Joseph, founded in Penola by the Venerable Mary MacKillop.
